Registration and Basic Candidate Information for INI-CET for admission to PG courses July 2021 session

The Registration and Basic candidate information for admission to PG courses of INIs for July 2021 session will be started form 05:00 pm on Monday, the 1st March, 2021 to Wednesday, the 31st March, 2021 by 05:00 pm. The date(s) of Completion of Application form will be notified soon.

All applicants who have applied earlier and whose Registration and Basic Candidate Information have been accepted for January 2019, July 2019, January 2020, July 2020 session & January 2021 session are not required to fill the Registration and Basic candidate information again.   They will have to complete Application form only after Generation of fresh Exam Unique Code(EUC) for INI-CET July 2021 session which will start at later date to be announced.

It is for the information of the aspirants of PG MD/MS course of January-2021 session that a combined entrance examination i.e. Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) for admission to PG course of AIIMS New Delhi, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru and PGIMER Chandigarh and seven other AIIMS (Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur &  Rishikesh) for January-2021 session will be conducted by AIIMS New Delhi.

INSTITUTE OF NATIONAL IMPORTANCE COMBINED ENTRANCE TEST (INI-CET) FOR ADMISSION TO PG COURSES FOR JANUARY 2021 SESSION   

INI-CET is administered by the Examination Section, AIIMS New Delhi in consultation with nodal officers from all INIs. AIIMS, New Delhi is the sole authority for conduct of all aspects related to Combined Entrance Test such as application, conduct of exam, declaration of results, Seat Allocations its responsibility is limited to these aspects of INI-CET only.  

Admission into any of the participating INI will be governed by the rules and regulation of respective Institute  as  applicable  and will  be administered  by  the  Head  of  Institutions  of  respective  INIs.

The Combined Entrance Test (CET) for admission into January 2021 session of postgraduate courses  [MD, MS, DM (6 yrs), MCh (6 yrs) and MDS] at Institutes of National Importance (INI) for Medical Education namely, AIIMS-New Delhi and all new AIIMS, JIPMER-Puducherry, PGIMER-Chandigarh, NIMHANS-Bengaluru, will be held in  the month of November, 2020.

The INI CET PG Entrance Examination will be held in only online modes.  

INI CET PG MD/MS ELIGIBILITY :-  For Indian National and OCI (Overseas Citizen of India)

(1)  A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognized by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India as notified by Govt. of India and Dental Council of India respectively and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training by the dates as mentioned in PART-B of the INFORMATION BROCHURE of respective Institute. [For Dental courses candidature will be as per DCI endorsement No.DE-130-2011/B-4978, dated 13.12.2011, DCI Revised BDS Course (4th Amendment) Regulation-2011 published in Gazette notification (Extraordinary) Part-III, Section-4, dated 9.12.2011].

A candidate may be eligible for admission into any INIs or only at some specific INI depending upon fulfillment of eligibility criteria applicable to respective INIs (details in Part B of Prospectus of respective INIs). Making Seat Choices & order of preference after declaration of result will be allowed provisionally as per applicable eligibility criteria of admission into respective INI.
 

(2) The candidate must have obtained a minimum of the following marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations :  

The Indian National who has obtained eligibility degree in India, must have obtained a minimum of the following marks (aggregate of all professional MBBS/BDS professional examinations): 

(i) For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate
(ii) For all other categories including OBC/EWS Category 55% marks in aggregate
(iii) For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates the minimum aggregate as provided in (i) and (ii) for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply.
 

For Foreign National candidates Eligibility :  

Candidates are required to obtain a certificate of grading system from applicable University/ Institution to determine the value of grading in percentage. The marks calculated accordingly must be filled in Marks Column for completion of Final Registration (Application for January 2021 Session of INI-CET) before due date.

The eligibility of Foreign National applicants with respect to the minimum marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations will be 55% aggregate or equivalent.

INI CET PG COMPETETIVE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
The INI CET PG Entrance Examination shall be conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT).
• The INI CET PG examination shall be held on Sunday, the 20th November, 2020
• The duration of the INI CET examination shall be 3 hours (Three hours/ 180 minutes) consisting of 200 objective type of questions of varying types (including Single Correct Choice and Multiple Correct Choice questions) for INI CET PG MD /MS/MDS Courses.
• The INI CET PG Online (CBT) Entrance Examination will be conducted in one shift:
Timing - MD/MS/MDS : 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon 

INI CET PG MD/MS APPLICATION FEE :-

INI CET Application fee is to be paid at the time of application for the INI-CET, Jan 2021 (Final Registration) in online mode.

General /OBC Candidates/Foreign National applicant : Rs.2000.00

SC/ST/EWS applicant : Rs.1500.00

Persons with Benchmark Disabilities : NIL

The INI CET applicant can pay the prescribed application fee through DEBIT CARD/ CREDIT CARD/ NETBANKING. Transaction /Processing fee, if any, as applicable, will be payable to the respective bank etc. by the applicant. Application fees once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Centres of INI CET PG Examination:  The INI-CET, Jan 2021 session is planned to be conducted in 129 cities spread across India.
